Xiaomi 17 Pro — accessories for the curved-screen model

The Xiaomi 17 Pro is the mid-tier variant of the flagship series, distinguished from the base model primarily by its micro-quad curved display and improved camera sensors. The 6.73" LTPO AMOLED 2K screen with rounded edges feels comfortable in the hand, but at the same time requires more careful selection of protective accessories. What to consider when choosing accessories?

The micro-quad curved screen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro is the key factor when selecting protection. Standard flat tempered glass will not adhere to the rounded edges — you need dedicated 3D glass or hydrogel films that conform to the display curvatures. Cases should have slightly raised bezels around the screen but must not overlap the curved edges, so as not to interfere with side gestures and edge swipes.

Screen protection

For the Xiaomi 17 Pro we recommend two solutions:

• 3D tempered glass — moulded to cover the entire surface including the curved areas. Higher cost than flat glass, but full edge protection and better resistance to side impacts.
• Hydrogel and TPU films — flexible, self-healing materials that conform to curves. Lower hardness than glass, but no issues with lifting edges or peeling corners.

Cases and covers

Choose cases labelled as compatible with the Xiaomi 17 Pro — not the Xiaomi 17, which has a flat screen and different body geometry. Available variants include silicone, TPU, hybrid (PC + TPU), leather, as well as rugged cases with MIL-STD-810G certification. If you use 50 W wireless charging, make sure the case is no thicker than 3 mm — a thicker layer of material may reduce inductive charging efficiency.

Camera protection

The triple 50 MP Leica camera in the Pro version has improved sensors compared to the base model. The camera island protrudes slightly above the body — it is worth protecting it with a dedicated lens glass or a case with a raised edge around the camera module to avoid scratches when placing the phone on hard surfaces.
