Two-channel mini switch without N Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS-L ZigBee
Sonoff MINI-ZB2GS-L allows you to change a traditional switch into smart lighting control – without the need to bring a neutral wire. It is particularly useful in older installations where there is only a phase wire in the box. It has small dimensions, supports two circuits, and is compatible with popular ZigBee gateways.
It works without a neutral wire.
The model operates without a neutral wire, allowing you to upgrade the installation without breaking walls and making electrical modifications. Installation is simpler and faster, saving you time and costs associated with bringing in additional wiring. The module does not require the use of an additional bypass, which simplifies installation and reduces the number of components in the system.
Two channels - independent control
MINI-ZB2GS-L supports two outputs (L1 and L2), allowing the control of two independent circuits, for example, two lighting sections. Each channel can operate separately, giving you greater flexibility in arranging the lighting in the room. The maximum load is 8 A per channel, up to 12 A in total, which is suitable for typical home applications.
Compact size and installation in a 60 mm box.
The housing, measuring approximately 45 × 39.4 mm, has been designed to fit easily into a standard installation box with a diameter of 60 mm. Its small size facilitates installation behind a traditional switch, even in limited wiring space. This allows you to keep your current wall fittings while simultaneously expanding their functionality with smart control. The device is compatible with various types of switches, including SPDT, making it adaptable to existing installations.
Integration with gateways and system functions
The module operates in the ZigBee 3.0 standard and requires a ZigBee gateway. It is compatible with iHost, NSPanel Pro, Zigbee Bridge Pro, and Zigbee Bridge, among others. Ultra, Dongle Max, ZBDongle-P/E, Dongle Plus MG24, and Dongle Lite MG21. This allows you to easily adapt it to your smart home infrastructure. After integration with the system, you gain full control over functions such as remote switching on and off, changing the operating mode of the external switch, disconnected relay mode, or setting the state upon power restoration. OTA updates are also available, allowing you to keep the device up to date with the latest software version without the need for disassembly.
Disconnected relay mode and automation
The relay disconnection function allows you to transform a classic switch into a smart button that controls scenes. In practice, this means that a physical press of the switch can trigger a specific action in the smart home system, without directly switching the power. You can set schedules, timers, and create smart scenes. The event history additionally allows you to monitor when and how the module was used.
